What does it take to have success on Instagram?

When I started working online back in 1999, social media was not a thing. I started promoting my business as a freelance translator in specific portals, with my website, blog and emails.

March 2023 is a milestone in my career: I launched my first book - both in Spanish and English!

"The Happiness Formula for Your Business on Instagram: How to Close More Organic Sales and Laugh at the Algorithm" is available now!

I was, however, an early adopter of social media. Back in 2006 I joined Facebook, because I was studying at BYU in the States and therefore had a .edu email address. The early requirement was to be a university student in the States… but it soon got global, as everybody knows.

I was reluctant to get into Instagram when I first heard of how to use it in business in 2016. A picture approach didn’t feel the best thing for me.

Honestly, I had no clue of what I was getting into. Proof of that are the pathetic results I had from my initial 170 posts over 7 months - I had 300 followers and zero sales of any kind.

Years later, having taken several courses on how to work online for network marketing in social media, I realized I had been doing it all wrong.

In the meantime, I had focused on YouTube and blog + email for my own business, with great success (that YouTube has today 76k subscribers and has taken me to the six figures a year in business), but as I started to focus on Instagram with the new approach, the account grew to 13k and I was getting sales from it.

My audience started asking me to teach them social media for business, and so my courses focused on the seemingly easier approach of focusing on Instagram and Facebook, since 2020.

200+ students later, I felt a book would be useful in conveying this information. I love the written format because it makes it so much easier to grasp and put into practice, as my first readers have pointed out.

The title of this book points to how you can feel joy in your business when you work on Instagram the right way.

You might wonder why I chose such a funny title, "the happiness formula".

Over the years, helping hundreds of people with their work on social media, I've detected several keys to their unhappiness:

  • They believe they need to be an expert and therefore feel like a fraud posting about things they feel unsure of

  • They feel anxiety for the constantly changing algorithms and all the new Instagram trends, and don't know how to handle so much change

  • They don't know who to talk to, and since they're posting very general content, they are not really connecting with anyone

  • They might post regularly (or not) but they're not generating sales

  • They finally get tired, through in the towel or quit their business declaring "they're not good at this"

Instagram is still a great platform to connect with your customers (Facebook too, but those techniques may come in a later book if you're interested).

What does not work is posting pictures of your products and hope that people come to ask you how to buy them.

In this book, which is short and concise (29 pages filled with value), I'm clearing up those difficulties and giving you keys to improve your experience.

Considering how most beginners are experiencing their business, I'm selling it for a very symbolic price: 7 dollars (US).

Do you want to get it right away? Just click below and it will be yours for 7 dollars.

I'd love reading your experiences when you have put it into practice!
